Our founder, Brian Bowen, is a man that understands quite well what it’s like to finally give people the pain relief they’ve been waiting for. Brian is an experienced herbalist, acupuncturist, and massage therapist who has been helping people combat their aches and pains for years. With the stories of how well CBD has worked for people floating all over the news, Brian decided to create a potent mixture of herbs used in ancient Chinese medicine and throw some of that magical CBD stuff in there. The result was Outch, and after watching his friends and family use and love it, it would have been selfish to not share it with the world. 

Brian developed Outch ointment after treating patients for over 20 years with a variety of acute and chronic joint and muscle pain. His mission is to stop pain and inflammation with the least invasive treatments. Brian believes that it takes a variety of tools to facilitate the body’s healing mechanisms while trying to get to the root of the problem, not just the symptom. He understands the need for convenient, effective therapeutic tools that can be applied every day if needed to help break the pain cycle. Outch ointment was founded on these principles and experiences.
